Today I 'Bulfaaleh' started a tour where I will be meeting Gambians from all walks of life. Some are outspoken,others wish to whisper for fear of retribution from the regime. These series will be so interesting to follow. They will be coming on the freedomnewspaper time after time. These series will unearth everything the current regime is doing,alongside expose the inner feelings of people who are usually not heard at all.

Mr. Ousainou Darboe, the leader of the main opposition United Democratic Party, has stated that the way and manner that the institutions namely Gamtel, Gamcel and GIA have been privatized leaves a lot to be desired.Mr. Darboe maintained that the UDP believes that private investment in the country will assist the economy and energize the country for its own benefit. He said that on the issues of the privatization of these three companies, he was not aware of any public tender. “I am not even sure whether the divestiture agency is even aware because everything should have gone through it”.

Dam Jeng, RVTH staff, as well as Mariam Tirera and Sidat Bangura, first and third accused persons respectively, have been dragged to court for allegedly attempting to abort a two-month pregnancy. They appeared on 20 August 2007 before Magistrate Pa Harry Jammeh of the Kanifing Magistrates’ Court.The first and third accused pleaded not guilty, while the second accused, the RVTH staff, pleaded guilty.

Justice MA Paul Engulfs in a D3Million Bribery Scandal-State House Sources unveil!

Buba Baldeh, Buba Senghore and Kuru Kongera offered D3Million Dalasis to Justice Paul to Free Baba Jobe!!

Paul says he ejected the three out of his office!

Justice Paul never invited his clerk or a member of the judiciary to witness his meeting with Baldeh, Senghore and Kongera. He spent couple of hours with the three trying to strategize ways and means of reaching a deal with them. Our source said Paul was afraid to inform the police or the state about the said bribery scandal, since he agreed to receive the three in his office, while the Baba Jobe economic crimes case was on. "Paul told me that the President was all the time pressing for life imprisonment for Jobe. He denied receiving money from these people, but had confirmed threatening them with arrest. Paul said the President was bound to be angry if the said bribery offer was brought to the notice of the state. As such, he decided to treat the matter under the carpet." said our source.

A Nigerian judge in The Gambia, Justice MA Paul, was offered D3Million Dalasis bribe, in a bid to free Baba Jobe, the former Majority leader, the Freedom Newspaper can authoritatively report. Three former APRC bigwigs have been linked to this major graft, which was calculated to lobby for light sentence or acquittal for the disgraced former UN indicted armed trafficker, according to Justice Paul who disclosed this classified information to our source. Former Daily Observer Managing Director and APRC Deputy National Mobilizer Buba Baldeh, Buba Senhore, EX- KMC official, and Kuru Kongera nearly succeeded in their bid to corrupt the mercenary judge, as judge welcomed them in his chamber to discuss the mode of deal to free Baba Jobe.

Following attacks by armed robbers in Basse in recent times, the police force has beefed up security by sending female and male police to the Upper River Region.Twelve female officers are sent to the region to serve in four police stations including a Suprintendent of of police to help the police commissioner there. There was also sent some traffic police officials to address the many careless driving and road accidents in the area.

A breif account on who is Captain Lamin Saine?

Captain Lamin Saine is no stranger to anyone who served as teacher in The Gambia or as former gendarmerie officer. Saine's past history has marks in these professions. He was close to the former Senegalese officers of the defunct gendamerie. A branch of Gambia's military that came into existence during the marriage of covenience between former President Adou Joof of Senegal and former President Jawara of The Gambia(who was deposed by the incumbent President Jammeh).

Justice for the gutters, The Gambian Judiciary is bleeding. Magistrates shack their responsibilities and yet lecturing Journalists. Recent events in the Gambian Judiciary have tempted me to write ands add my voice to the mourning of the Gambian Judiciary. The rulings of Principal and Senior Magistrates in the Gambian Judicial System show how Magistrates are loyal to the President and not the state that is paying them.

Today as I was reading through the educative,informative and wise pieces on the freedomnewspaper,I came accross a very powerful one from Mr Michael Scales again. I was carried far away into the absract and powerful world again while running through Scale's Shakespearian words! I really never thought of seeing my name in that powerful framework of words. It was an honour and elevation to say the least. I have been seeing Michael quote me in many other pieces however,this one was just so good to say the least. It is not about him mentioning my name,it is about the contents of the piece that shook me!
