Pa Samba Jow Takes Issue With Raleigh Imams!!
Saturday, June 07, 2008 (1333 reads)

The Imams misguided response to Jammeh’s outrageous comments against gays.

By Pasamba Jow Coach

I find the enthusiastic endorsement by the imam and deputy imam of North Carolina of Jammeh’s outrageous attack against homosexuals quite perplexing.  If Mr. Kanteh (imam) and Mr. Jeng(deputy imam) had spoken as private concerned citizens, I would not have responded to their statements, but since they chose their pulpits to make the statements, I believe they deserve a response.

Dear Mr.Editor,
May I welcome the statement from The Ministry for Foreign Affairs,of The Democratic Republic of The Gambia, confirming that Homosexuals will not be beheaded if they visit the Gambia. However, the front page news in the Banjul Daily Observer, still carries the opinion that His Excellency President Jammeh, will not tolerate any Homosexual in The Gambia. The Gay Rights organisation , which statement was carried by The Freedom Newspaper, sights legislation contained within The Gambia Constitution which protects the rights of minorities.

Life Through My Eyes-Gibril Saine Writes From The UK
Saturday, June 07, 2008 (504 reads)

I borrowed this title from one of the great poems written by my favorite artist, rapper and poet, the late Tupac shakur. The title appeals so dearly to my heart more so the fact that it exemplifies the struggles and the many obstacles faced by a young black youth as we battle through life to adulthood. It's of regret to point out that in Britain and the western world for that matter, though success stories are noted, the vast bulk of these youth perish on our  merciless streets in one way or another if not due to drugs and imprisonment, fall a victim to gangland war fare.

Omar Ndow, SOS for Communications, Information and Technology
Monday, June 02, 2008 (8 reads)

By The Democrat

Reliable information reaching us from Banjul has it that Omar Ndow is appointed Secretary of State for Information, Communications and Technology and that the Department of State for Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology will be over-seen by Secretary of the Cabinet at the Office of the President.

Yesterday, the youngest Minister in the Gambian Cabinet lost her job amidst the impoverished economic situation. It could be recalled that the Honored Student from a Tennessee University was serving as the Communications Officer with the private cellular company COMIUM before her appointment as Secretary of State for Communications, Information and Technology, replacing the current Managing Director of the Daily Observer - Neneh Macdol.

Today, is has ended for young Fatim. Who will compare a private industry to Jammeh’s Government. He yet to be done with his nonsense of hiring and firing. As of the appointment of former SOS Fatim Badjie-Janneh, So called Professor Jammeh said that he will appoint whoever he wants to appoint as Secretary of State. The so-called Committee in the National Assembly responsible for investigating and conducting a background check on public appoitment are not doing their job. Who dares to speak? None of them because the King of the Gambia Government, will get them fired thereby overriding what is enshrined in our constitution.

Yahya Jammeh in a statement during the swearing in of Mrs. Badjie-Janneh said that no one tells him who to appoint after some members of the carbinet claimed that Fatim has not gone through the ladders of the Government for her to become Secretary of State as the Office has a lot to do with policy work amongst a host of other responsibilities. President Jammeh said that if he likes, he would clear the whole of his cabinet and make it young people within the age cohort of 20-25. What stupid thought from a Head of State? This shows how bad he is administering the affairs of our nation. No doubt, little Gambia is facing economic hardship.

WARNING FOR OMAR NDOW:

Yahya Jammeh keeps hiring and firing administering and stiring our country’s affairs with incompetence. Let’s wake up Gambia. We should now see it for ourselves. Yahya Jammeh is always making the worng choice. Remember, he called Former SOS for Youth and Sports, Faye and Former Nominated Member of the National Assembly, Oley Sey as most patriotic Gambians for deciding to leave the United States and coming to Gambia to serve their nation. HA HA HA HA, sorry I most laugh. As a matter of fact, where are these two people today? Faye with his sex scandal, lol, a wife snatcher like Yankuba Touray and Oley Sey, a professional thief serving her term at the Mile 2 Central Prison. Yahya Jammeh, don’t think that Gambians are fools. If you think so, you must be fooling yourself for nothing is hidden under the sun. The sun shall shine brightly on us for the future will bring the light of reality and kick out the darkness of ignorance you brought along since 1994. We shall move from a dream to a reality, hate it or love it! Get my mind right!

Now, Omar Ndow takes over the Department of State for Communications, Information and Technology. Who will be SOS for Higher Education Research, Science abd Technology? Let’s wait, Freedom will always get you updated!

Yahya Jammeh folks, will always tell Ministers do your own things without consulting. He says be initiative because you don’t have to consult me for everything. What some lip-service!!!! Mr. Ndow, we all know it is an honor to serve your nation but at the end, with Yahya Jammeh, it ends up at disgrace. If you know what I mean.

Jammeh & Co Emasculate The Gambian Constitution-Town Crier Writes!!

Jammeh & Co Emasculate The Gambian Constitution

A Constitution it is believed should reign supreme to all laws of the land. Yes that is truly said than done in the case of our beloved Gambia. We have seen how our sweet Gambia has been transfixed by Yaya Jammeh, (Boy Jola/BJ) as if it is his own family house where his voice stands and nothing else matters. If one reads Chapter VI of The Gambia Constitution which most of us don't do, you will find out how Boy Jola, Rude Boy International has tried to cover his behind while in office and after he leaves office.
