The Reason Behind the Shameless Killings and Brutal Torture of GAMBIANS-Commentary

The Reason Behind the Shameless Killings and Brutal Torture of GAMBIANS

    By Baati Jollof

“How are the mighty fallen?”  Hello Gambians, Countrymen and Countrywomen. During the past few days there have been great revelations about issues that had been clouded in “mystery” for some time now.  In my youth days in the late 1960s at Saint Augustine’s High School we were taught by those humble priests the real virtues of life irrespective of religion. As a Muslim student I enjoy studying Bible Knowledge.  Am sure some of you reading my contributions on this forum, will say that this old man like making reference to Saint Augustine’s and “the good old days”. But I must confess to you that these were the days when every GAMBIAN was his brother’s keeper, most especially for those of us who live in Banjul and the greater Saint Mary’s Division at that time.

Dear editor,

Please allow me space in this popular and well read online newspaper to react to the fabulous and misdirected commentary made by Pa Saikou kujabi recently in this very newspaper.

Pa Saikou is indeed disappointing and outrageous to hear comments of this nature from a man of your calibre. i think you fooling your own self since no single Gambian pro or anti Halifa Sallah will agree what you about  this man of character, intergrity  and dignity.
Perhaps you did not know Mr Sallah if you does which i believe you did not then  i believe you are abusing your ultimate right in making a fair and objective comment in this very forum. There is no iota of sense or truth as far as i'm concern and many hundred of thousand Gambian home and abroad to agree what you said about this man.

NADD: PROACTIVE PRAGMATIC FOREIGN POLICY

By Foday Samateh

For those still holding out in denial, I wish to inform you in open confidentiality that Yayha Jammeh and Lawyer Darboe have long since known beyond all doubts that there is no comparison between NADD and both APRC and UDP in any area of governance. More so, in the pivotal foreign policy. Twelve years as a first-class frequent flyer around the world, Yayha Jammeh’s foreign policy (if it can be called one) has gone in as many directions as his countless flights. The only difference is, while his pilots have always successfully landed the planes at their intended destinations; his one-man foreign policy team is forever lost dillydallying in the middle of nowhere.

Fajara Barracks Diary: How fugitive Major Kalipha Bajinka was assigned to kill Hamat Bah?

State House army officer reveals how Bajinka and some state guards burn the Independent Newspaper-Jammeh's negative reactions to fail operations and a lot more......

The image “http://www.frontpageafrica.com/images2/hamat_bah.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors. President Yahya Jammeh once invited Major Kalipha Banjinka at his Kanilai retreat to execute certain missions for him. One, was  the burning down of the Independent Newspaper and the killing of certain political leaders in the country. Fugitive Bajinka at the time was the head of the notorious and brutal state guards. Bajinka was more keen at burning the Independent Newspaper at the time. A state House army officer alleged that   Bajinka gave orders to  the state guards to "kill and burn the properties of the Independent printing press beyond recognition." The officer said the soldiers who took part on the operation  were nearly put on firing squad, as the operation was described as a failure by Bajinka and Jammeh. That a state guard soldier who sustained burns left his short gun pistol at the scene of the crime. The said pistol was later in the hands of the police. Both Jammeh and Bajinka wanted  the local security guard on duty dead and all properties raised to the ground. While the operation was on, Bajinka was at a near by street coordinating the  fire bomb of the Independent.

Jammeh should give up his plans to kill Ousainou Darboe
The police threatening to shoot and kill opposition supporters is a bad sign for a country going to the polls in September

The time has come for Gambians to unite to chase monster Jammeh from the Presidency.

EDITORIAL

The Presidential flag bearer of the NRP/UDP party Ousainou Darboe has been tested again by Jammeh's thugs ahead of the elections. The recent fracas between  trigger happy APRC thugs and his party militants in the Niaminas is a dangerous signals for our country ailing national security. The APRC is no doubt posed to incite violence ahead of the polls. This nonesense and cowardice act must stop if they want to realize their much anticipated elections free of violence. This regime survived on terror and oppression. Since Ousainou Darboe is committed to salvaging our country from decadence and despotism, he should be bold enough to resist these harassment spearheaded by the Ruling APRC. Darboe should bear in mind that Jammeh will exploit all kinds of intimidation to silence him and his party. As rightly stated by Lamin Waa Juwara freedom is not a gift, but a God given right. This coming elections are crucial to our country's future and Mr.Darboe should be ready to say enough is enough on Jammeh's politics of terror. African local politics is costly and those vying for the Presidency should not be chicken hearted at all. They should be  prepared to go to jail, to be killed in the name of toppling a despot through democratic means. Anything short of this, they will be counted as fake politicians who are out to legitimize a totalitarian government.

NADD: The Party for Institutional Reform-Opinion

          By Foday Samateh

NADD: The Party for Institutional Reform

The jury is in. The verdict is reached. The judgment is passed. And I have the utmost pleasure to announce that NADD is the only political party with the caliber and timber required to deliver what The Gambia needs: a comprehensive package of institutional reform. The somber eyes of sincerity are cast across the present state of the nation and the heart of patriot weeps in immense grief over the blanketing gloom. Twelve years at the helm, Yahya Jammeh and his visionless junta have succeeded in proving their honest critics right that they are the wrong crowd at the wrong place at the wrong time. Their report card on democratic rule of law shows that their performance is below zero, ability nil, and overall conduct heart-wrenching. They do everything to the contrary of the proper way. They abuse human rights, mutilate and violate their own constitution, instill fear deep into the people, rejoice in their arrogance, and absorb every institution protected by law to be independent into the power-grabbing presidency reminiscent of a colonial government.

Exposing Jammeh’s Fraud – What Needs to Be Done (II)

Intimidation, Manipulation and Misuse of State Resources

There is abundance of proof Jammeh has jumped on every opportunity to skew
the electoral competition to his advantage through crude and sometimes
illegal methods. He has not hesitated to use his toadies and thugs to
obstruct the opposition and its supporters. He took every opportunity to
coerce, frighten and pressure ordinary citizens into believing he is the
best thing since Kanilai.

Suwokuta with Eddy Kabayfu- Omar Fye, Tijan Ceesay to host $20,000 picnic party for the APRC in DC on August 25TH

Suwokuta with Eddy Kabayfu- Omar Fye, Tijan Ceesay to host $20,000 picnic party for the APRC in DC on August 25TH

Their lies on OJ'S planned defection to the APRC exposed!!!

Sports Minister Omar Fye is here to party.  Is Gorgi Fye serious for real?  What Fye  and the APRC intends to achieve by wasting $20,000 in a beach party? We learned about a  $20,000 dollar picnic party to be hosted in a week or so in the Marry Land by him, Tijan Massaneh Ceesay together with a handful of APRC supporters in the DC Metropolitan area. Hummm. The party is scheduled on August 25TH. They said such a party was triggered by two key reasons. One, the successful hosting of the AU Summit and what they called "Jammeh's inevitable landslide victory come September 22ND.  Are they also celebrating the recent hacking of the Freedom Newspaper?  It is gathered that APRC supporters in various states were billed to attend the said party. Omar Fye and Tijan Masaneh Ceesay are currently busy making phone calls everywhere informing people to attend. That they want to impress President Jammeh and his cronies that the APRC is popular in North America. The APRC is facing its final dead as Gambians abroad cannot like such a murderous party.
