GAMTEL Bankruptcy Did Not Comes As A Surprise To Me- Says Letter Writer
By A Concerned GAMTEL Staffer
Dear editor,
I would appreciate a little space in your reputable Newspaper to talk a little bit about my experience in the Gambia. I want to stay anonymous at this time because I am currently in the Gambia. GAMTEL's bankruptcy did not come to me as a surprise due to the high corruption and the high level of dependency of the Gambia government. I have been working for GAMTEL for a long time and almost all staff of this telecommunication company are constantly paranoid about the activities of the current president.

PANORAMA with "Bulfaaleh"-Bashi taking over ports Authority too with Jammeh-TOP SECRETS LEAK.. Tuesday, March 18, 2008 (916 reads)
PANORAMA with "Bulfaaleh"-Bashi taking over ports Authority too with Jammeh-TOP SECRETS LEAK..
Muhammed Bashi is going round Ports Authority to take over the place with some Kuwaiti "merchants"
As we write this story Muhammed Bashi is walking around the premises of Ports Authority with some Kuwaiti "merchants". These people have been dragged into the President Jammeh-Muhammed Bashi-Lebanese cartel in Banjul once again. They are here to end the last piece they as vampires are ready to eat from our decaying national carcass. The name Vampires was given to them the Lebanese by President Jammeh himself in 1994 and also in 2002 when the dalasi was floating at a rate of D36 to $1.00 Now are these Lebanese locusts without without wings? This maybe more serious because they can only end their lives in Banjul. No wings means no possibility of flying again. Jammeh is a very dubious character when all is said and done. Has he forgotten that? He also called them locusts that destroyed Sierra Leone and Liberia. So aren't these locusts already in his own farm now?

Michael Scales Wants Gheran Senghore To Apologise To The Freedom Newspaper!! Sunday, March 16, 2008 (349 reads)
Dear Mr.Editor,
I have often thought, that I am the white version of Alan Quartermain's faithful guide Umbopa. The book by H. Rider Haggard, of
King Solomon's Mines, contains many wonderful phrases, which have stood the test of time. One of my favourites, is relevant today as a description of my "hands on" knowledge of Africa...".A land of beautiful young brides, fat cattle,
game to hunt and enemies to kill." 100 years later...has Africa changed that much?
To take the objective view through white eyes...I would say the only difference is that the "Jungle drums "are silent..but the mobile phone it reigns supreme.
