Muhammed Bashi is going round Ports Authority to take over the place with some Kuwaiti "merchants"

As we write this story Muhammed Bashi is walking around the premises of Ports Authority with some Kuwaiti "merchants". These people have been dragged into the President Jammeh-Muhammed Bashi-Lebanese cartel in Banjul once again. They are here to end the last piece they as vampires are ready to eat from our decaying national carcass. The name Vampires was given to them the Lebanese by President Jammeh himself in 1994 and also in 2002 when the dalasi was floating at a rate of D36 to $1.00 Now are these Lebanese locusts without without wings? This maybe more serious because they can only end their lives in Banjul. No wings means no possibility of flying again. Jammeh is a very dubious character when all is said and done. Has he forgotten that? He also called them locusts that destroyed Sierra Leone and Liberia. So aren't these locusts already in his own farm now?

Commissioner Khan Refuses To Issue Receipts To Area Council Officials Who Handed Tax Monies To Him

Civil Servants In Basse Complain Lack Of Salaries

Gross financial impropriety has been reported at the Basse Commissioner’s office, with the Commissioner Omar Khan refusing to account for the monies submitted by the Area Council in that region. Tax payers monies were being handed to the Commissioner without any receipt issued to the relevant Area Council officials, thus raising doubts over an alleged financial impropriety on the side of Commissioner Khan.

After more than a decade of celebrating Mother’s Day by the women  of Atlanta under  the auspices of  Kura Njie, Mam Fatou Njie, Suna Njie and  Anna Sarr  including  many other prominent women of the Atlanta community, Gambian  men of Atlanta have decided to reciprocate by organizing and managing all logistics of the  2008 annual Mother’s day picnic  in honor of their women and children in an effort to say “ THANK YOU” in appreciation of all their efforts rendered in the past years.

High electricity bills, is likely to cause a major showdown in Brikama, as angry youth, have vowed to demonstrate if the National Water and Electricity Company (NAWEC) does not quit issuing “fake and exorbitant” bills to the Community. Brikama,which has seen past demos in the First Republic, is currently witnessing high electricity bills, supposedly perpetrated by corrupt and dishonest NAWEC staffers. Its inhabitants are increasingly dissatisfied with NAWEC’S recent move to exploit the populace with what they call “dubious electricity bills.”
