Wednesday, April 19, 2006 (774 reads)

President Jammeh's paternal family line disintegrated by his callous behavior.... Here is a man who feeds on other people's sorrow and sadness. President Jammeh described as one the lowest of the low by his own family members. Brief History.... In 1977 President Jammeh's family was not in Kanilai. It was happily living in MAYOK Casamance Southern Part of Senegal.Jammeh was already born by then. This is why his village people said he started his schooling in Mayok. During their stay in MAYOK the family had people like Haruna Jammeh and Apai the eldest running everything.

Only President Jammeh's Generator In Kanilai too is enough to scrape our national coffers!

An insider within President Jammeh's household in Kanilai revealed this on the President's life style.

Mathematics of rising consumption, our economy is in the red.

President Jammeh's generator consumes 1,300 liters of gas oil per day or every 24 hours. The cost of gas oil as at now is D27.00 per liter. The president has a 1 megawatt generator.

Breaking these figures down into pieces:-

-1,300xD27.00 take answer then multiply it by 365 days will give you how much Jammeh has been consuming for the past 11 years or so. This excludes the power plant stationed at the state house in Banjul.

TEETH BITE:THE JAMMEH 30 YEARS RULE TALK, JAMMEH/FJC SEX SCANDAL AND OTHERS!!!
Wednesday, April 19, 2006 (869 reads)

Gambia’s President Yahya Jammeh, is indeed worried these days. Do we hear him saying that he will not leave the state house in the next 30 years? Do we hear him warning Gambians to be weary of possible external aggression? The failed leader is very desperate these days. Jammeh is not the least certain about who will replace him, but he knew that somebody will soon occupy that high office. Gambians should not be surprised about Jammeh’s ranting. The man do not sleep these days. He is armed 24-7 and often knocked at military check points within the Greater Banjul Area. If the President is resorting to guarding himself, we should know there is a total break down of national security.

LETTER TO THE EDITOR:IS PRESIDENT JAMMEH OK?
Wednesday, April 19, 2006 (456 reads)

BY Bakebba CAMARA

Dear editor,

I can now confirm that dictator JAMMEH needs some medical attention. I was deeply disturbed after reading his speech during the last Saturday's so called ten thousand march of desperate civil servants and Jammeh's own Green thugs. I wonder who wrote that speech for him because an intelligent, educated, modern and someone with his/her right mind will not allow to be associated with such a bad written statement of this nature. I'm sure even the least educated people among the crowd would have realized that Jammeh is a failure and Gambians need to act sooner rather than later to get rid off this despotic and senseless idiot.

Is Yahya Jammeh Not an Idiot?

By Baati Jollof

Fellow Comrades and countrymen, it is just unbelievable what one hears and see these days in our beloved Gambia. Over the past 12 long years we have been really unlucky to have an illiterate as a President. Now, what is much more serious is that this illiterate had gone nuts. Listening to Jammeh on Saturday, April 15, at the Maccarthy Square in Banjul, I felt like striking him death. It is very hard for some of us who listens to the President’s speeches to believe that he is anywhere near normalcy. Jammeh seems to have gone out of his head completely. His utterances are always covered in lies and deceptions, which he uses as a pretext to threaten the peace loving citizens of the Gambia.

BREAKING NEWS-JAMMEH SAYS HE IS MORE EQUIPED THAN SENEGAL?
Wednesday, April 19, 2006 (668 reads)

"All this noise is happening because we do not show what we have, especially in terms of weapons. What we have in terms of weapons, I will not show out. But if anyone wants to test it, I will show it out and then use it on you. Billahi Wallahi Tallahi, even if you have one million troops or thousands. I am afraid of no country because I have the most powerful: God. Then I am not afraid of any country. I am not afraid of Satan. I am not afraid of the Jinns. If you want, go and sleep. If you see us ignoring so many things, Africa wherever you see there is conflict. The innocent ones are suffering. This is why Africa remains backward. But if anyone forces me into fire, I will drag you along. I am not asking you to be hateful to people. Let us not allow ourselves to be divided. We can disagree among ourselves but let us not allow anyone from outside to interfere with our national issues. Every human being should be faithful to God. As long as we are delivering and doing good, there will be no country that can be more progressive than us in five years’ time. I said so because I know the reason why I said it." Jammeh declared at the APRC 10,000 march. He was referring to neighboring Senegal whose Ambassador was recently named in a coup allegations. Senegal is yet to respond to Jammeh's so called military might.

Reporters Without Borders

Press release

19 April 2006

NIGERIA

Newspaper publisher hounded by power-hungry deputy state governor

Reporters Without Borders today urged the judicial authorities in the Niger delta state of Bayelsa to refuse to be accomplices to the harassment of Alfred Egbegi, the publisher of the privately-owned weekly Izon Link, by Bayelsa's politically ambitious deputy governor, Peremobowei Ebebi, and to acquit him of the charges brought against him at the deputy governor's behest."The sole aim of the criminal charges brought against Egbegi is to suppress embarrassing information and intimidate the local media," the press freedom organisation said. "We call on the judges to acknowledge the purely political nature of this prosecution and to acquit him. The judicial system should not become a tool in the service of a politician's personal ambitions."

BREAKING NEWS:THE SLOW PACE OF PROSECUTION OF COUP SUSPECTS WAS DUE TO LACK OF EVIDENCE!!!
Wednesday, April 19, 2006 (485 reads)

             BY STAFF WRITER KARAFA BADJIE

Well placed judicial sources blamed the slow prosecution of the alleged coupists to what they called lack of evidence against the accused persons. Insiders at the government law offices in Banjul told the Freedom Newspaper that the justice Minister Sheik Tijan Hydara had told the police to put the case file of the coup suspects on hold as evidence provided so far were weak and cannot be relied upon in any court of law to convict the suspects. “All what they have in their possession was a drafted speech, purportedly emanating from the coupists. But the said document could be disputed by the defense as they might as well claimed that the document was forged or obtained under duress by the state. The AG is apparently confused as to what to do. He has been trying to figure out what line of action to take in this case. The case file was sent back to the police for further research to build up their case against the accused persons.” said an official of the AG Chambers who spoke on strict conditions of anonynimity.

EDITORIAL:JAMMEH IS A VERY BAD CITIZEN-A SICK PRESIDENT TRYING TO RULE BY FORCE!!!
Tuesday, April 18, 2006 (580 reads)

      EDITORIAL

Gambia’s iron hand dictator President Yahya Jammeh, is a bad citizen. How can Jammeh publicly declared that he had intention of ruling the impoverished country for another 30 years, when he had woefully failed as a leader. For Jammeh to tell his supporters that those aspiring for the Presidency should relax, as he had no plans in the short term to surrender power in the next 30 years, is a joke. Gambians will chase him out of the state house if he continues to cling to power. The time has come for him to leave. Forced rule will only lead to his embarrassing ejection from that high office. His statement sounds like that of a desperate person talking. Jammeh has lost control of the country and there is no doubt in our mind that Jammeh’s days are numbered.
