.jpg) Gambia’s Ambassador to the United States of America Dodou Bammy Jagne, has been billed to attend the Raleigh, NC annual Muslim gathering known as “Gamu”, the Freedom Newspaper can authoritatively reveal. The Ambassador who is representing a murderous government in the United States has been busy trying to gather political support base for the Ruling APRC, which is increasingly becoming unpopular in the Western world. Gambians both at home and abroad are displeased with the current dictatorship. As a result of the growing nationwide discontent, Jammeh and his officials are finding it hard to visit certain Western countries. Popular showdown actions usually disrupts their visits. Jagne’s pending Raleigh visit might be disrupted by demonstrators who are poised to take the disgraced Ambassador to task on the atrocities committed by the Jammeh government.

Following the news that Sudan have arrested prominent politicians and military chiefs who allegedly involved in a coup which many human right activists denounced as another phony coup ‘stage-managed’ by an African dictator, many are now asking when will such coups and counter coups end in the continent.The Freedom Newspaper can confirm that the Sudanese authorities few hours ago arrested 17 people, including the opposition leader Mubarak al-Fadil and retired military officers, accusing them of trying to overthrow the government.

Dembo Keleng Bojang, Chairman of APRC Western Division has been threatened with court action as his wife Binta Mira Sanneh insisted that she must go to court to make a stop against ‘unjustifiable domestic violence’. The matter has since been reportedly to the Brikama Police Station and the APRC Chairman was henceforth informed about his wife’s grievances. So far he has not been formally arrested or charged.
