Seven executive members of the People's Progressive Party have resigned from NADD with effects from the 17th March 2006 dependable sources from the Party (PPP) secretariat has revealed. The source said we held an executive meeting on the 3rd March, purposely for the issue of theresignation, but let me make it very clear to you that it is not the party that resigns from NADD but some executive members of the party only.

The drive is now properly set. I have always insisted that the fastest track to deleting APRC as part of the Gambian political agenda is by not occupying their dangerous and unsuitable platform. By that is simply meant; not playing the APRC style and manner of public deception they prefer calling politicising. Most serious of all mistakes in the past and may be up to now has been the other parties' readiness without being critical in playing on the APRC platform.

GAMBIAS VETERAN JOURNALIST AND ACTOR DIES
The death of Mamadou Musa Secka, a veteran Gambian journalist and actor was announced yesterday by his family members. Mr. Secka who died at the MRC Fajara by 9:00am was laid to rest by 5:00pm at the serekunda cemetery.

The spending spree of Gambia’s iron hand dictator Yahya Jammeh, is getting out of hand. Imagine our own self imposed President giving a tip of twenty thousand US dollars ($20,000) to dentist staffers in New York City. Jammeh was billed to pay the sum of $6,000 dollars, but after the servicing of his teeth, delighted Jammeh gave the dental staff over three times tip of the sum he was billed to pay. Our sources are very credible and we have no cause to doubt their reliability.

These past days have not been all that decent when one considers the APRC's ways of strengthening its propaganda machine.Fatou Jahumpa Ceesay and Yankuba were heard fuming in reaction to what Halifa Sallah said about the country's debt burden.This makes people laugh at them.These are people who only wait for any word from Halifa and then they pounce back.This is what qualifies them as reactionaries.It is shameful when one listens to what they say some times. It is also shameful for anyone to compare his or her government's bad record to what obtains elsewhere by justifying their's from that.Two wrongs cannot make a right.Instead of comparing Gambia's debt burden to other debt burdens why not these APRC goons offer acceptable solutions to what Halifa criticsed them for?

UDP’S Deputy leader Yaya Jallow, has not defected to the Ruling APRC party contrary to GRTS news cast that one Yaya Jallow a UDP supporter defected to the ruling party, thereby causing confusion within the opposition circles within the country, said Saihou Mballow a strong UDP big gun in New York City, here in the United States.
