CHERNO SHOULD COME CLEAN AND STOP RIGMAROLLING
Reading from the usual ramblings in the name of lectures from Cherno Baba Jallow is that he is out to defend only Sarjo Jallow and no chei there is no need of a full disclosure and better still you did know the man in question and you read the online papers every single day. This is my belief.

Editorial: Exposing Cherno Baba’s Hypocrisy And Double Standards!!
What Moral Authority does Cherno Baba has To Preach Journalistic Ethics???
When runaway journalists like Cherno Baba Jallow started making last minute impressions, in a bid to appease the powers that be- it’s worth scrutinizing the purpose and tone of his counter productive presentations. Yes, we call his presentations counterproductive. His lies, hypocrisy and double standards cannot go unchallenged. It’s too late in the day for our good friend to talk about journalistic ethics, when he is equally guilty of it. We mean guilty big time. Cherno Baba Jallow is one of the greatest violators of journalistic ethics. Here was a person who used to insult Yahya Jammeh on the Mighty Post and the Gambia L mailing list. Does Chei, as he is fondly called forgot about the degrading and unethical pieces he used to author against Jammeh? What about the caricature images he uses to ridicule Jammeh? Where is the ethical journalism he is laboring on for nothing? Who is an enemy to journalism? Chei or the Freedom Newspaper? Chei sounds like that idiot calls Louis Friend, who operates under the cover of dark to insult, ridicule and caricature Gambian journalists. Anyone interested in seeing Cherno Baba’s unethical pieces against Jammeh should visit the Gambia Post and the GL mailing lists respectively.

SUBVERSIVE NUDGE”-results-GAF or Gambia Armed Forces Act of 2008- The Kanilai Bluff!
By Hammadi Maasinah
Yahya Jammeh’s case makes one think about the reasons being advanced by certain architects of decision making. There are these terms like “gentle nudge” or “subversive nudge” they can help us once again run this marathon of Bluff with the APRC regime. On the other hand President Yahya Jammeh has again! been convinced by his team of loud, paranoid wolves in sheep’s clothing, to attempt the latest. This latest step is what I will call a PUBLICITY TEST. It is so hazardous for a “political-amoeba” like the APRC regime to take this route!

Former Army Commander Jatta Exposed- Cassandara calls Jatta an Imbecile!! Thursday, April 10, 2008 (705 reads)
INDEED BABUCARR JATTA IS AN IMBECILE, Where is this Demon? He may be one of the president’s lose ones.
The revelation of Baboucarr Jatta being one of the cohorts of the atrocities of the April 10th and 11th student demonstration is a fact indeed. This atrocious charlatan of an imbecile is hiding behind his asses, quiet and naughty as his actions continues to haunt people all over the country. There is widespread information that his swerving action at the GTTI was a military action geared towards alerting officers to open fire. Thus, he gave the orders that killed innocent people. An action that must remain to haunt him for the rest of his life; a life that must be disastrous. This is just a tip of the iceberg. He presided over the torture and intimidation of ordinary citizens by bragging his new found power; a power he borrowed. His arrogance took him at tolls with elderly people who mattered in his life when he was a pauper. Indeed the new killer Malick Giki Jatta is his Brother.

REMEEMBERING APRIL 10TH AND 11TH, 2000: A FLAGRANT ABUSE OF THE RIGHT TO LIFE AND DIGNITY
BY BINNEH.S.MINTEH
FORMER ARMY LIEUTENANT
In her contemporary analysis of “ The legacy of Abuse, Confronting The Past, and Facing The Future” Alice H. Henkin argued that, “efforts should be made to uncover the truth regarding the suffering, fate and whereabouts of victims.” She further asserted that, “these efforts should aim to acknowledge the pain and abuse suffered by victims and their families and to create an official record to preserve memory and guard against revisionism.” The tragic events of April 10th and 11th 2000 are such “moral imperatives” and “moral blindness” that must be an abject concern of all actors in The Gambian Political landscape.

Why Gambia’s First Lady Gets Mad at Yahya Jammeh. By Watchman.
He thinks she’s impressed by how many people he throws in jail.
He keeps embarrassing her at state banquets when he tries to dance.
He attempts to speak Arabic with her relatives but is so bad at it, he ends up insulting them.
He tells her how good a cook she is but eats the dishes cooked by his staff when she’s not looking.

That was a silent moment of hope.

Freedom Newspaper Mail Bag: What our readers say today!! Thursday, April 10, 2008 (462 reads)

Mr. Mbai
I've notice that your paper has slowed down your criticism of Jammeh hiring of Fatim Badjie. I think if she is young and inexperience you should write extensively about it. We need to know who are running our country. Gambia is much bigger and more important than anyone person or group. If the truth is to be told, I strongly believe that it should out for everybody to see. You shouldn't compromise nothing when it comes to Jammeh. I don't know Jammeh personally, I can't tell if his a good guy or not but I have a tremendous amount of dislike for his policies and the way his managing our country. For example, the Ghanaian massacre; He should have admitted his mistakes, apologized from the beginning and work on paying their families with the money he uses to buy his hummers and spend on beach parties. Keep up the great work you are doing. I love freedom newspaper. You are a real Gambian warrior and a true patriot. Unlike Jammeh, "who love power and wealth more than he love the Gambia". Thank you very Much Mr. Mbai.

Remembering our fallen heros!! Thursday, April 10, 2008 (468 reads)
Remembering our fallen heros
By PK Jarju,UK
Fellow Gambians, yet again we today commemorate the brutal massacre of over a dozen Gambian school children. These innocent school children were brutally murdered on April 10 and 11 2000 by Gambian security forces, who have sworn to protect them. Our heart continues to bleed and our eyes continues to shed tears anytime we think of the brutal manner in which their souls departed this world. These young men were not criminals or rebels.
