Mr. Mbai: I just got off talking to relative in Gambia who informed me that the IEC has found another box with no picture full of ballots. The relative confirmed that this information was announced over the TV. In another disturbing venue, Lamin Kitty Jabang went around on Saturday night giving rice, sugar and money to folks in Julakunda, a predominantly Jola section. Some of the residents refused to take the offer, but some took Jabang's bribe.

This further confirms what some people have been saying i.e. President Jammeh is not so happy with Washington because he calls them “DOUBLE STANDARDS“ during the early days of his 1994 coup. This was the time when America and civilized nations around the world imposed sanctions against the military boys without a vision. American and other Western countries were right when they imposed sanctions. But Jammeh with his little head thought that he was being punished unjustly. This was far from the reality. Freedom loving nations will never support or work with military governments who came through the barrel of the gun. Jammeh came without getting the mandate of the people and he will certainly leave sooner or later. He reacts in this childish manner when angry with a country or people.

For some reason we left these two talkatives hang themselves up. We received reliable sources surround the reason why they traveled to New York but decided to keep quiet until the end. On May 17th 2006 Gibba and Bah will be traversing the Atlantic ocean flying back to The Gambia after completing a mission in New YORK. The mission is linked to the preparations of President Jammeh's visit to the UN General Assembly in September 2006.

It was late evening, and the setting sun cast a red shadow that stretched as far as the eye could see towards a patch of thick woodland outside the village of Busumbala. Overhead, geese in battle formation flapped their wings lazily as instinct guided them westward towards the gentle Atlantic shoreline . Below the huge baobab tree, Demba a lonely cattle herder, singing sad melodies to himself, kept watch over a herd of cattle that was feeding among the tall, browning buloude grass.
