In the on going case involving UDP officials at the Brikama Magistrates's court, Magistrate Jonny Njie has ordered an ultimatum to Police Prosecutor to double up and present the witness in court for the case to continue in two weeks.Police prosecutor, Cpl. Sanyang 413 was today ordered to produce his witness in court to enable the case involving the Kombo East UDP officials Doudu Cassa Jatta, Jerry Fatty, Mariama Jobarteh and Buba Darboe.

Prices for bread especially "Tapalapa" has been stable at D4 per loaf but the quantity has been reduced drastically. Consumers are in tears as their children are no longer able to eat enough to sustain them for the morning. Food traders especially those who trade in "Nyebbeh" and bread have also reduced the sizes drastically to the detriment of those who live on street food.

According to sources close to some patients at the Health Centre, they have not been getting electricity due to a fire outbreak at the male ward last week. The said fire destroyed the electrical mechanism thus bringing light supply to a halt. The staff quarters is getting light uninterrupted unlike the wards.

Principal Magistrate Moses Richards has now held the bull by the horn and lectured the notorious Gambia National Intelligence Agency a lesson they deserve to learn. A Point Newspaper report recently quoted the magistrate as to advising the clandestine Agency to stop poking their nose into Civil Matters. It was so truthful and well placed that, a quick reaction came from the agency trying to “clarify” issues whilst making matters worst; kudos to the Principal Magistrate who really is.

After claims of curing HIV and AIDS Jammeh has now claimed to cure Hypertension and the ex first lady of the former regime received treatment on African Herbal Day.Ex-First Lady Njemeh Jawara was seeing at the treatment centre in Kanilai for treatment of her hypertension including a lot other hypertensive patients. According Lady Njemeh Jawara, she suffered from hypertension in UK while they were on exile. On their return the condition has continued. She says, "I go to UK every four months for medical check up." She tells her condition in a serious mood to the self proclaimed doctor as one may do in a scientific hospital. She was given a very heavy concussion to drink. President Jammeh drank a good portion of it and gave to his patients.
