News:Eaw group Half a Millon dollars suit against Gambia-Lobby Firm
says it will invite the US Secret Service to testify on its case!!!!
By Our Special Legal Affairs Correspondent

Well
placed sources close to the Washington based leading lobby group called
the EAW, Group, INC, says the US Secret Service will be summoned to
testify in the half a millon law suit brought against the
administration of Gambia's President Yahya Jammeh, the Freedom
Newspaper can reveal. The
high profile legal case ever registered in a US Federal court seems to
have taken a dramatic twist, as the EAW is said to be planning to
invite the US Secret Service Agents, who guarded President Jammeh and
his delegation during his two United Nations visits in September of
2000 and May 2002 to testify on the said case.
Jammeh in hot soup again!!!

Good
Morning, Mr.President-Iran's arms container to land in
Banjul-Gambia/Sudan risked to be turned into full blown turmoil-State
House Sorces reveal!!!
Good Morning, Mr.President,
Your recent bluff that the Gambia is
a supper power is a joke and a figment of your own imagination. We know
for a fact that Iran promises to help you with latest weapons. These
weapons according to our State House source is expected to duck at the
Banjul Ports before the September Elections. This includes anti aircraft
rocket launchers, ammo tanks and other deadly weapons. Mr. President,
it appears that you are posed to go to war. Why these ammunition at
this hour? Who are you having beef with?Iran is an isolated
country bent on threatening world peace. Impoverished countries like
The Gambia could be used as "breeding ground" by Iran to pursue its
long dream military might against the West especially the United
States. Iran is posed to turn The Gambia as its base to fight the West.

Flip- Flopping Hamat Bah got it all wrong-Is this the type of Gov't we want in Gambia after Jammeh's demise? Sunday, July 09, 2006 (727 reads)
EDITORIAL
National Reconciliation Party Leader Hamat Bah, made two fundamental errors when he addresses the Tennessee meeting. Bah's
unfounded criticism against NADD and what he calls "Internet lairs"
will no doubt jeopardize the ongoing negotiations to bring the divided
opposition under one umbrella. Bah betrayed his admirers and
supporters, when he resorted to personal attacks instead of addressing
the common enemy who is no other person other than President Jammeh. As Bah tours the US, NADD leaders we gathered are busy trying to meet
with his colleagues in the UDP/NRP coalition with the sole aim of
reconciling their differences. For Bah to open old wounds at this time
is unacceptable and height of hypocrisy.

Flip-Flopping Hamat Bah got it all wrong-He failed to address the issues!!!

Bah's Tennessee Meeting Answers Nothing- As his statements are irresponsible and devoid of any political sense-Editor Jambang Sunday, July 09, 2006 (679 reads)
Bah's Tennessee Meeting Answers Nothing As his statements are irresponsible and devoid of any political sense.
By Associate Editor Yankuba Jambang
Although
Hamat Bah is one the Gambian politicians I have always respected, his
statements at the Tennessee meeting were way off track. Gambians who
are longing for a democratic change have their hopes shattered as our
opposition politicians failed to unite under one umbrella to dislodge
the brutal regime of Yahya Jammah. This, I believe, was due to power
struggle amongst themselves. What Hamat Bah failed or refused to
understand is that they did not form NADD to select a leader from the
party that came second in the last presidential election. It would be
different if election is being held where the electoral laws or the
constitution says a party needs to win 60 percent of the votes to take
over the reigns of the country.

Editor Jambag says Hamat Bah got it all wrong!!!

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-AU Summit party gossipping at State House,Tijan Massaneh Ceesay chosen as next DPP.. Sunday, July 09, 2006 (649 reads)
State House throws a "successful"? AU Summit Party,Gossipping takes center stage. I
was at the party mixing up with the guys in power once again. As usual
the Jammeh regime is mirred with endless infighting and gossipping
mouths. They "eat" each other like fish in a dark blue sea. Information
during such gatherings is free of charge. I over heard some reliable
sources whispering to one another. They were giggling and chuckling
over a subject that was apparently so funny to them. I then went closer
and closer to these people, infact they never suspected that I was
standing near them. Interestingly President Jammeh was not all that far
from me. He was walking around majestically like a king. He even shook
my hand! This is no joke he did shake my hand.

NADD wanted positions; they wanted the cake that is not yet baked-Hamat Bah tells UDP/NRP supporters at Tennessee !!! Saturday, July 08, 2006 (519 reads)
By Musa Sanneh
Mr. Bah: Musa,
I am a responsible man. I will not disclose the discussions going on at
the moment between the two alliances. But I will tell you we will agree
on one flag bearer. What complicated the negotiations is that: NADD
wanted positions; they wanted the cake that is not yet baked. This is
the problem. I have made it very clear. I will not endorse anyone for
the flag bearer except Darbo. The president has the mandate who will be
the vice president and whatever. Ousainou will exercise that right. For
now, let‘s just file one candidate. We are not going to make any
agreement as to who is to occupy which position. The president will do
that.

Bah accuses NADD of power greed as he tours US

PANORAMA with 'Bulfaaleh'-Baddibu Sabah Sukoto-A dead soldier dumped near a weeping mother! Saturday, July 08, 2006 (933 reads)
Former GNA Soldier Ebrima Camara dies after killing for those who killed him

This is what one may call poetic justice touching the used ones. Or is
it worse than that? It may also be considered a vicious circle of
killing the killers after they kill the innocent. This is really, really
too bad for our beloved country. Sometimes we wonder if President
Jammeh does ever sit down for a minute and think about if his own
daughter,Myriam Jammeh was turned into an orphan within 5 seconds? Does
he? He should be thinking like that at least. This may sound surreal
for President Jammeh but it can happen to the little Jammeh at anytime.
Never will these poor souls he is burying day in day out go in vain. ..

By Abdoukarim Sanneh
Looking into catalogue of crimes ranging from extra judiciary
execution, murder, dententions with trials, human rights violation,
corruption and many other economic crimes, the year 1994 to 2006 is the
roaring decades in our nation's history, which we are all paying the
price for, as the grrdiest decade and the seed for the destruction of
our small nation state. Let us be alert now because Yaya Jammeh has
sowed the seed for the destruction of our nation. It is about time to
redeem our people before we began to see destructive images of nation
