    Misleading statements can end Pakistan’s credibility

        If we go by the recent statement of the Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki Moon, the two most dangerous countries on this planet are Pakistan and Afghanistan. This statement of Moon is neither prejudiced, nor does he belong to any enemy country of Pakistan or Afghanistan rather this statement is the harsh reality of the world today. The question is that who is responsible for notoriety of these two neighbouring countries? This is clear that the decisions of the political bosses of these countries and the misleading statements of Pakistani leadership are behind the current scenario.

…Sukai Jack Risked Being Killed If Deported!!!

Sukai Jack, a Gambian asylum seeker in the United Kingdom, would be deported to her native country, The Gambia today Tuesday November 3^rd 2009, according to well placed sources reaching this paper. Madam Jack ran out of luck,  when British authorities dismissed her asylum appeal case. She has exhausted numerous appeals, contesting  the court’s decision ordering for her immediate departure from the country. She claimed that she would  be arrested, and possibly murdered upon her arrival in The Gambia. Residents of Salford in the UK convened a vigil march Monday evening, urging British authorities to help reverse the decision to deport Madam Jack. The people of Salford have been instrumental in fighting Sukai’s case. They spoke high of Madam Jack, who suffered rape, torture, and death threats while in state custody in The Gambia.  She was accused of taking part in a military coup in March of 2006 , a charge she repeatedly denied.

Lately, I have been wondering what has come over the opposition in Gambia. But the thought of the perilous condition under which they operate leaves me with little basis to blame them entirely for the predicament that faces the country. As time unfolds, reasons of past and present happenings reveal themselves. One very important thing that recently captures my attention is the delirious ranting that continues to come from that tragedy of a figure, Waa Juwara. I can remember someone at the heart of the APRC establishment confiding in me in those hopeful formative days of the now almost whacked opposition alliance grouping, the National Alliance for Democracy and Development (NADD), that this guy had been planted within as part of plans to frustrate efforts to achieve the real purpose of the alliance.
