There have been major changes in Gambia’s Foreign Service Diplomatic Corps. New Ambassadors have been hired by president Adama Barrow to represent the new government overseas. Few Jammeh handpicked Ambassadors were retained, while a good chunk of them have been fired. The following people have been appointed Ambassador:

Malaysia – Ramzia

India – Jainaba Jagne

Spain- Lang Yabor – retained

China – Fye Ceesay

Senegal – Ebou Ndour

Russia – Jainaba Bah

Cuba – Ousman Badjie

South Africa – Abdoulie Bojang

Guinea Bissau- Musa Sonko

Morocco- Alhasan Jammeh

Ethiopia – Sulayman Bun Jack

UK – Francis (Chil Boy) Blain

USA – Ebou Manneh

Saudi – OG Sallah – till end of his Contract

Sierra Leone – Femi Peters (He reportedly declined his appointment).

Kemeseng – Turkey

NIGERIA – Amadou Taal

Belgium – Tenneng Bah Jaiteh – Retained

UN New York – Modou Tangara – Retained
