Gambia: Kanifing Court Grants Bail To Six Detained Ladies, Who Were Accused Of Taking Part In An Opposition Protest!

The Kanifing magistrates court has granted bail to the eight arrested women, who were being held in connection with the opposition protest, the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. The accused persons have been custody  for sometime now. They have all denied the charges brought against them by the state. 
The PPP Interim Leader Omar Amadou Jallow (OJ) was in court to show solidarity with the detained ladies. Mr. Jallow’s court attendance was highly appreciated by the released women. 
The released ladies were in high spirit. The lady, who was detained together with her new born bay was also released on bail. 
Meanwhile, the UDP Leader Ousainou Darboe and his co accused persons are still languishing in jail. They are expected to appear in court on Monday.
