Mr. Alhagie Boye, a Gambian American, resident in Raleigh, North Carolina, has been taken into custody by the personnel of the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms (ATF), the Freedom Newspaper can reveal. Mr. Boye, was called to turn himself two days ago, and he complied without an incident. He personally drove himself to the ATF offices, situated on the Falls of Neuse, in Raleigh, sources said.

Sources familiar with the story said Mr. Boye, AKA, “Gambian Sniper” was taken into custody in connection with the December 30th failed coup in The Gambia. Mr. Boye has been accused of conspiracy to overthrow a foreign government—which is against the US Neutrality Act. The full details of his case with the Feds, would be unveiled in court sometime next week, sources said. 

A relative of Alhagie Boye, showed up at the ATF offices along the Falls of the Neuse to pick up his car and belongings, before Mr. Boye was whisked away to Lillington, North Carolina, for further processing. Mr. Boye,  is a cab driver by profession.

Alhagie Boye is said to have been charged by the Feds. He is expected to appear before a Federal Court on Wednesday, in New-Bern Avenue, Raleigh North Carolina. His bail application is likely to be litigated on his first appearance before a Federal judge on Wednesday.
