Pa, Respect to you!

The Gambia may be a “nation of laws” … but mostly ignored by Jammeh.

As such, I find your article repugnant, insulting and totally outrageous.

KANDEH GDCMr. Jammeh’s rights? Since when did the fat man accord constitutional rights to the people of the Gambia? Everybody knows that you have little or no rights at all as a Gambian citizen …. and that there is NO rule of law (unless it suits the fat man). The country’s constitution has been raped and bastardised beyond recognition. Mr.Kandeh would now like it for Jammeh to be afforded the very rights that have been denied to an entire nation since 1994. He would encourage Jammeh to BUY some mercenary Judges (nothing new there), give them all presents, and bribe them with the Gambian people’s money that he has stolen, then to establish a kangaroo court, and then to instruct the ‘Judges’ as to the outcome he wants.

Kandeh, Where are, and were, your protestations for ‘the rule of law’ and ‘constitutional rights’ when the Gambian citizens were being tortured and murdered?

Rule of Law!!! Don’t make me laugh.

May freedom, democracy and peace come soon for all of us.

Your article from 6th Jan

“On Jammeh’s election petition, Kandeh said the Gambia is a nation of laws. He said Mr. Jammeh’s rights guaranteed by the constitution to seek redress in the courts should be respected. The constitution, he went on, has catered for aggrieved parties to seek redress in the courts if they feel that the polls haven’t been conducted fairly.

He added that the same constitution required all candidates, who took part in the elections to meet certain criteria in order to qualify to run for the position of President. Mr. Kandeh said The Gambia is a nation of laws, and therefore the rule of law should be respected.”

How can you speak of respecting the law, if the outgoing President doesn’t give a damn shit about the rule of law-
and this for the last 22 years?

Just confront him with military force and he will put his tail between his legs and run. Sadly, this is the only language he unterstand.
