Gambian journalist, and political analyst Omar Bah is our guest for the Freedom Radio Gambia primetime Sunday Leral show program. Mr. Bah has just returned to the United States after visiting his family in the West African country of the Gambia. Mr. Bah was among the thousands of Gambians forced into exile by the former Gambian dictator Yahya Jammeh. Mr. Bah is going to comment on his recent Gambia visit, his own assessment of the new government headed by Adama Barrow, the situation of governance, the economy, security, among other issues of national interest.

Mr. Omar Bah live in the State of Rhode Island. He runs a Refugee Dream Center in Providence. He is an expert on Gambian Affairs. He is currently pursuing his PHD Doctoral Program.

During his trip to the Gambia, Bah visited his native village in the Nuimis. He also visited the Gambia Press Union, where he met Sheriff Bojang, the former Information Minister lecturing some group of young aspiring reporters about journalism. He volunteered his time during that impromptu visit to tutor the young journalists.
