The trio have been cited by the Janneh Commission: Balla Jasseh, an IT consultant, Amadou Colley, the former Governor of the Central Bank of The Gambia, and Nuha Touray, a former Secretary to Jammeh’s cabinet. Jasseh, Colley and Touray have been served with adverse findings by the commission.
The commission has ordered the trio to pay up money to the state. They were also advised by the Justice Ministry to get in touch with AG Tambadou and SG Cherno Marena to see if they could consider making a payment plan.
The Freedom Newspaper has gathered that some of the individuals cited by the commission plans to file an appeal before the high court to contest the decision of the Janneh commission.
