Accusing The Independent of “Bad Journalism” is disingenuous and Preposterous:
Sulayman Makalo’s TRRC statement is legally impeachable.

The unholy ghost of the past can haunt, crash and set fire to the hollow toast of the present!
Lawyers and journalists, like good pastoralists and caring shepherds, should tend and pasture the flock; they shouldn’t, like predators, tear, taste and devour the flesh.
A commission, which theoretically is founded on the constitutional pillar of right to freedom of expression and truth telling ought not to bring unqualified witnesses endorsing an hear say statement, depicting character assassination, an act which allegedly injures ethical sensibilities and sensitivities!
There’s something called “Hostile witness” at Law.
There’s a way to handle them; which I can’t be bothered about. Sulayman Makalo is wrong guy who is wrongly used to try to undermine the credibility of The Independent. Makalo wrongly admitted to “bad journalism” into WRONG HANDS, by wrongly delivering to the TRRC! Mr. Makalo has no clue about the inner workings of the Independent when he was a junior reporter.
What a wrong way to think of establishing the truth by using the wrong people who are doing further wrong to our already wronged country.
