His name is Musa Johnson. He is a soldier. He was recently named at the Truth, Reconciliation and Reparations Commission (TRRC) by perpetrators as the soldier, who allegedly reported the late former Army Chief of Defense Staff Colonel Ndure Cham to be abducted at his farmland outside Farafenni to be killed by Jammeh’s assassin team called the Jungullars.
Johnson was Ndure Cham’s orderly. He was Cham’s closest buddy in the army.
Cham was implicated a coup plot back in March of 2006, and he fled to neighboring Senegal. He was in touch with Johnson while he was away from the country.
Ndure Cham used to sneak into the country unnoticed. His farmland was a place he used to spend time during his visits. He works on his farm during his secret visits.
Musa Johnson was stationed at the Farafenni army barracks at the time of Ndure’s arrest and execution. Sources have it that his problems with Ndure Cham stem out over land related issues. He was allegedly asked by Ndure to sell his properties for him and handover the money to Cham. For some reasons, Ndure never lived to enjoy the proceeds of his sold properties. He was allegedly sold out to dictator Yahya Jammeh by Musa Johnson.
Musa Johnson is now said to be posted at the Kudang military base. He no longer works at the Farafenni army camp.
One of our sources recently met him at a street corner in Farafenni. The location is called Region. It is situated in Farafenni Warf town. He was secretly photographed. Our source had also taken part in a conversation in which Johnson was part of. So many stuffs were discussed during that “attaya vou.”
