FAO Country Representative presents Letters of Credence to Foreign Minister Dr Tangara
The new Country Representative of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO), Ms Moshibu Rampedi, on Friday September 20th, 2019 presented her Letters of Credence to the Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Gambians Abroad, Dr Mamadou Tangara, in his office in Banjul.
Receiving the Letters of Credence, Dr Tangara congratulated the new FAO Country Representative for her new assignment. He expressed gratitude to FAO through Madam Rampedi for the partnership with The Gambia over the years. The Foreign Minister assured the FAO’s new Country Representative of the support of the Government of The Gambia at all times.
Madam Moshibu Rampedi, the new FAO Country Representative, expressed optimism of the support of the Government of The Gambia and further informed Foreign Minister Tangara of FAO’s readiness to further strengthen partnership with The Gambia.
