The corrupt born Mankamang-Kunda failed leader is planning to hire Lamin Sima, his recently appointed Ambassador at large to head the State House Investment Department. Per Adama Barrow’s plans, he wants to hire Sima Permanent Secretary Investment. Sima is Barrow’s new deal maker and errand boy in town. He is going to replace Yankuba Saidy, another member of Barrow’s economic team for self-enrichment.
Saidy is being groomed as Deputy Ambassador to Russia. He doesn’t want to go, but Barrow wants to relocate him, as he did in the case of Dawda Fadera, another member of the mafia. Fadera now heads The Gambian mission in Washington DC.
As Barrow’s taste for personal enrichment has no boundary, he wants Yanks Saidy to replace Lamin Bojang, who recently resigned from the government to head the GAP political party.
The State House Investment Department is a backdoor aimed at covering up quid pro quo and economic crimes. Investors no longer come to the country because they are being exploited by corrupt officials. Those engaged in the scam, would travel as far as Senegal to meet with would be investors.
Lamin Sima, Barrow’s prospective PS to head that phony Department, resigned from the SSHFC, following the illegal sale of SSHFC lands. The plots were sold at double and over the market price. Police have opened an investigation into the matter, but that case is gathering dust at the office of IGP Mamut Jobe. Adama Barrow’s corrupt State House is stalling the investigations. The SSHFC officials arrested haven’t been taken to court yet.
