POSTPONE ST’S SATURDAY ALBUM LAUNCHING BECAUSE OF THE 63 DEATHS!

1641

Given the unfortunate boat accident on Mauritanian waters, which claimed the lives of 63 Gambians, we sincerely believe that the scheduled ST album launching should be postponed. The album launching was scheduled for tomorrow Saturday. Since the nation is battling with this sad news, musician ST should consider postponing the event.

It is morally wrong for Gambians to grace any social partying occasion this weekend; talk less of dancing. Let us pay tribute to our departed brothers and sisters.

After all, ST’s own youth peers were the one, who died in that boat accident. We hope the musician will take a break for now until the bodies are repatriated from Mauritania and laid to rest.

The ST album launching can be held another date and not on Saturday. We hope ST’s management will heed to our brotherly call for national prayers and mourning at this time.

Thanks for your kind attention.
