President Adama Barrow has been scheduled to visit the Upper River Region, where he is expected to inaugurate the newly built two police stations in that locality, Freedom Newspaper has been reliably informed. The two police stations located in Bakadaji and Mangkamang-kunda. The project was financed by The Gambia Ports Authority.
Bakadaji is located in Jimara, in the Upper River Region of The Gambia. The village has a sizable population.
Analysts are concerned about what they called the possibilities of President Barrow’s entourage spreading the Coronavirus during the upcoming weekend events to inaugurate the two police stations. Fears are rife in the URR that if social distancing is not enforced, the Coronavirus is likely going to be spread during Barrow’s visit to the region.
