GAMBIA: BREAKING NEWS: BANJUL MAYOR USES NEIGHBOR AS FRONT MAN TO OVERSEE HER KEBBA AND SONS SUPPLY COMPANY; A COMPANY SHE USES TO BILL BCC MILLIONS OF DALASIS!

Few days ago, we reported about a company that the disgraced Mayor of Banjul Rohey Malick Lowe had registered through a third party and had been using the Kebba and Sons Supply company to conduct procurement business with the Banjul City Council (BCC). Kebba and Sons is the company that the dubious and corrupt Mayor has been using to rake millions from the European Union (EU) allocated funds for the council. She has so far received D13 million dalasis from the trashcan bins her company supplied to the BCC. Her relative Mam Lai Jasseh is handling the EU million Euro project.

Who is the Mayor’s front man for her Kebba and Sons Supply Company?

As we told you, the Mayor and her BCC have been on our radar. Our investigations revealed that the Mayor is using one of her former Banjul neighbors to run the Kebba and Sons Supply company. And her front man is Kebba Drammeh, a native of James Senegal Banjul. Kebba’s family home is opposite Mayor Lowe’s family home in the same street James Senegal. They used to live near Box Bar. Kebba and Mayor Lowe have been neighbors for years.

Kebba Drammeh has moved from Banjul to stay with the Mayor at her Kotu home. This is the guy managing the Mayor’s businesses.

The Kebba and Sons Supply Company belongs to Mayor Rohey Malick Lowe. She used Kebba Drammeh as a front to register the company. This is the company; she has been using to extort money from the council.

For those of you, who doesn’t know Kebba Drammeh, he is a former Gambia Ports Authority footballer. He has retired from football. He is now part of the Ports football club technical staff.

The European Union, and BCC’s sister partner city in Ostend, Belgium are being placed on notice to know that this Mayor is running a family enterprise at the BCC.

The officials running the show at the council are her close relatives and loved ones.

Banjul as a city doesn’t deserve such an exploitation. It is wrong for the Mayor to use her company to conduct business with the council, aided by her hired family members enablers. CEO Mustapha Batchilly is also an enabler.

Mayor Lowe should consider resigning. The people of Banjul have lost hope and confidence in her.

It is also wrong for the Mayor to register a Foundation while heading that council. Who knows if she is using the Foundation as a smoke screen to perpetrate corruption?

Given her past drug conviction record, it is mind boggling to allow an elected official to operate a Foundation while working for the taxpayers. She has donated D20,000 dalasis to The Gambian Talents Promotion media outlet from that Foundation of her.
