The police spokesman Superintendent Lamin Njie has confirmed the GRA break-in theft case. “We can confirm an office breaking incident at the GRA reported on the 11th September 2020.Crime scene investigators have visited the scene and investigations are currently ongoing,” Njie told me in a WhatsApp message. He was responding to our journalistic query on the incident.
The police spokesman was earlier contacted on Wednesday, and he said he was going to get in touch with his colleagues for details. His response wasn’t in depth. He merely confirmed the incident, but wouldn’t comment further.
