Trade minister and sports minister removed

President Adama Barrow has removed his Trade, and Sports Ministers. The removal of the two Ministers happened today.

In a statement issued, the State House said Trade Minister Lamin Jobe and sports Minister Mr. Hadrammeh M. Sidibeh, would be redeployed to the Foreign Service, a common expression that is often used when public officials are fired.

In another development, the President has hired a new sports Minister. Mr Bakary Y. Badjie, is Gambia’s new sports Minister. Badjie ran as an independent in Gambia’s 2018 Mayoral elections but couldn’t make it.

Editors note: Thanks President Barrow for diversifying your cabinet. Bakary Badjie is the first Jolla to be appointed in your cabinet. Thanks for listening to us. It was few days ago, that I raised the issue of the Jollas’ absence in cabinet, TRRC, CRC and the Janneh Commission commissioners. Well done.
