Musa Mboob, the former Inspector General of police and Immigration Director General, has been re-aborobed into the system. Mboob has been appointed as an adviser to the The Gambia Drug Law Enforcement Agency (DELAG). He replaces the late Pa Habib Mbye.
Mr. Mboob was in exile in the United States prior to his home return. He returned to The Gambia following the change of government.
According to source, Mr. Mboob’s appointment came into effect three weeks ago. He is likely going to be redeployed to the police or Immigration, sources said.
For now, Musa Mboob is advising DG Bakary Gassama and his Directorate.
