The officer commanding police prosecution in the Kanifing Municipality Superintendent Almameh James Manga has been moved to Banjul, barely weeks after his recent transfer, Freedom Newspaper can report. Manga’s replacement is yet to be named.
It would be recalled that Manga, was recently transferred to the KMC to head the prosecution office in that locality. He never stayed long in that office.
Few weeks after his transfer, he was asked to return to Banjul. The officer, who was heading prosecution office in Banjul, has been moved to a new unit, sources familiar with the story have intimated.
Manga has been recalled and asked to replace his colleague.
Musa Batchilly’s fraud case was handled by Manga. Manga’s position at the KMC prosecution office remains vacant, pending his replacement.
